I am a PhD student at the Infectious Diseases Research laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Shyam Sundar. My research focusses on designing carbon-based biocompatible nanocarriers for the drugs and testing its safety and efficacy on the cell lines and murine models of Visceral Leishmaniasis(VL).

Worked on the project titled “Cloning of Tissue Factor GFP in Mammalian Expression Vector PC DNA 3.1 for monitoring its localization in live cell” • The goal was to monitor the activity of Tissue factor (a membrane protein important for the initiation of blood coagulation) tagged with Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) in live mammalian cells.
