I joined the Sales and Data Services team under Securities division as a New Associate Program Analyst in 2012. My primary role was to develop software applications that are used by traders and sales people. In my tenure with Goldman, I have worked on deployment tools, web stack development, trades and regulations and business standard utility tools. I have gained experience in programming languages including Java, python, javascript, C and C++ and worked with SQL and MongoDB. I also gained valuable business knowledge on different trade products (primarily swaps) and governing regulations. • Design: Technical lead for the design and implementation of a deployment tool that automates the distribution of trading applications to servers across different regions. This tool was deployed across 10 units, which reduced the previously intense amount of manual labor and improved the efficiency manifold. • Leadership: Head of the Indian edition of NAPA and Intern Committee (NIC), a group aimed at providing a platform for networking and knowledge sharing between campus recruits and interns. • Technical: Primary contributor to the design and implementation of the Goldman multi product (equities, fixed income, etc.) trading platform “Marquee”. This web based platform was designed based on the requirements from different trading groups. • Communication: Contributed to multiple technology division initiatives through a series of written and oral communication and presentations to key senior stake-holders through the firm. • Finance: Lead developer of a tool that models various swaps (CDS, interest rates, etc.) and applies appropriate regulations based on designations related to country or province. Developed a tool that automates compliance triggers and profit and loss triggers based on the performance of sales person. Show less

During my Bachelor's, I joined Coromandel International Limited as a summer intern from may to july 2016. I worked on their fertilizer plant at Vishakapatnam, India. My primary role for these two months, was to model the electrical layout of their fertilizer plant. I had to come up with an optimal model with minimum energy losses due to resistance and impedance of the generators, motors, pumps and the wires. This experience gave me an opportunity to implement the mathematical knowledge I gained from academics in practice. Show less
