My major responsibility at this position are • preparation and reviewing temporary traffic management schemes to construct the 4 dual carriageway 2.5 kms bridge of AL Bustan Street South and two level interchange at Al Waab Intersection. • Review of highway designs, traffic studies, TTM plans and road safety audits. • Coordination of multi-disciplinary design review teams. • Coordination of key stakeholders to ensure timely obtaining of approvals for TTM schemes. • Carrying out regular road safety audits for the temporary traffic diversions. • Ensuring all temporary traffic diversions are maintained in a safe clean condition for the road users. • Monitor all temporary road networks on the construction site to ensure safe use.   Travel demand analysis was carried out for Dronagiri, Kalamboli, and Ulwe Water front nodes of NMSEZ using the advanced transportation planning tools to estimate the transport infrastructure requirements. Further Conceptual Transportation Master Plans prepared for Dronagiri, Kalamboli, and Ulwe Water front nodes of NMSEZ. Traffic impact assessment was carried out for various critical junctions, SEZ entry gates and criticallinks of NMSEZ through micro simulation technique. In addition, detailed analysis is made on capacity augmentation of external road network of NMSEZ using which Improvements to surrounding road network of NMSEZ is identified and presentations made to concerned agencies. Assessment of Transport Systems requirement for various development scenarios of NMSEZ was carried out to identify the best alternative for the horizon year development. Conceptual transportation plans and design of Interchanges in and around Dronagiri and Kalamboli node of NMSEZ has been completed and submitted to the concerned implementing agencies. Design of internal road network for Dronagiri, Kalamboli, and Ulwe Water front nodes of NMSEZ using MxRoad software is in progress. Geometric design of 5 interchanges of critical locations around Dronagiri and Kalamboli nodes of NMSEZ. Conducted road safety audit during design and supervision stages for 4 nodes (Dronagiri SEZ, Kalamboli SEZ, Ulwe SEZ, and Ulwe Water front SEZ) of NMSEZ. Integrated Passenger water transport system (IPWTS) is carried out to estimate the potential of water transport for various nodes of NMSEZ/Main land and Island City.
