During Pranens tenure at Discovery, for a couple of months he directly managed my team (user experience and design) as well as the rest of the Digital Channels department. It was incredible to see how well he balanced his time and energy to ensure our teams wellbeing over and above his responsibilities of managing a department of around a 100 people. Pranen often went the extra mile in selecting and growing the best talent, working extra hours to motivate promotions that he felt were rightly deserved.
