It is my pleasure to recommend Prakash Beharry, who is a highly professional and experienced individual. He has always led his Engineering Group to seek and put the business interest first, while navigating internal organizational hurdles to ensure both strategic and short-term objectives were met in accordance with applicable engineering standards. He has assisted me and the Maintenance Group to solve technical problems in creative ways, which was especially important due to the uniqueness, size and complexity of the varied scopes/tasks. Prakash was appreciated as a sobering voice at Management Decision meetings, as his opinions demonstrated a deep understanding of the requirements, in terms of timeliness, desired level of asset integrity and cost effectiveness needed to safely attain the business objectives. His willingness to share knowledge and overall approach to work, were key to him gaining respect and trust within the organization. It is noteworthy, that Prakash is the type of person, I will be willing to work with in the most challenging, stressful multi-year project/assignment.
