- Create purchase orders for the individual stores to replenish their stock, to complete any special order requests by customers and to ensure sufficient product is ordered to suffice flyer deals at competitive pricing from the vendor- Ensure the orders (from supplemental vendors) are coming in on a timely manner and that the orders and being shipped to their appropriate designations on a weekly basis- Regular replenishments for the individual locations were done on a week to week basis using Microsoft Dynamics NAV- New products SKUs were entered into the system and any existing product information (including min/max inventory, pricing, cost, margin, special instructions, ordering bundles, UPCs etc.) was updated once a month win accordance to catalogs and availability from the vendors- Inventory data was monitored on a monthly basis and sales reports were looked at to determine min/max inventory needed on the shelves to allow for quicker turnovers- Relationships were maintained and developed new ones along the way to ensure we are up to date as a company on any new launches, special features and to make ourselves standout from our competition- Worked closely with the accounting department to ensure that the deals we had determined, we got and to ensure that all payments are taken care of to avoid any shipment delays on their end- Association with the marketing team to ensure the monthly promoted items and vendor oriented demos were ordered before hand, further maintaining its inventory throughout the month.
