  As a Program Manager for Sri Lanka program I was able to lead the program to empower nearly 14,000 households in areas of war effected, plantation and dry zone to secure their rights. Currently leading them to dignified and sustainable exist.I lead my team independently with minimum supervision in strengthening public and civil society structures, enhancing sustainable livelihoods, ensure quality education and social protection for children and adolescents. As a result of my innovative initiatives and results oriented leadership style, I contributed in converting the Sri Lankan program, as a resource hub for the Asia region. “Family Development Plan”; “Empowerment Road map” are few of my contributions for the development field.   Work with children in Anurdhapura district. By strengthening children’s clubs, I could create a platform for children to raise their voices for their own wellbeing. To secure the sustainability of the children’s club, I worked towards establishing a link with Child rights protection officers in the district and finally contributed to strengthen the divisional level protection committees in the district. In latter part of my stay at Save the Children period I contributed to develop the textbook in Life competency and Civic education in collaboration with the of Ministry of Education and National Institute of Education. With great effort finally introduced three textbooks for grade 6,7 and 8. Show less
