The TMCBC Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation, administration, program development, project implementation, and supervision of the TMCBC. The TMCBC Supervisor provides leadership, supervision and direction to the TMCBC staff, monitors the quality of communication with stakeholders, manages the DriveBC’s social media account, and is responsible for identifying ongoing training, technical, and development needs, while ensures consistency with program standards. This position provides business and IT technical support for the Centre and DriveBC social media accounts, manages the day-to-day operations of the Centre, and develops protocols, procedure manuals and training of the agents while performing quality assurance for all traffic management related communications. The TMCBC Supervisor is required to work closely with district management, emergency services, and various other stakeholders and interested groups to continually improve proactive planning initiatives and best practices through a process of consultation, facilitation and evaluation in order to maintain a forward thinking, customer service focused organization.
