During my Master of Teaching and Learning (Primary) I completed a year-long student teaching placement at Crofton Downs Primary School. I was fortunate to be mentored by the school’s Junior Team Leader, and gained extensive practical experience teaching the New Entrant-Year Two class. I worked alongside a passionate team of experienced teachers, teacher aides, and support staff. I was seconded to the Parliament Education Team during the 2017 election period. While in this role I was part of a small team coordinating the induction of the new Members of Parliament. I also developed, edited, and consulted on new education resources for internal and external audiences. I presented Education seminars to a range of international and domestic audiences.

My other responsibilities included general administration and correspondence, collection maintenance, and database management.
