During my time at McCann, I have worked across a variety of projects for brands including BMI, Zurich, Mastercard, LloydsPharmacy, and Verizon. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with Raleigh International on their Youth for Green Growth project in Tanzania. OUT OF OFFICE FOR GOOD PROGRAMME:For the second year in a row, McCann Worldgroup collaborated with youth-driven sustainable development charity Raleigh International to train and support 23 members of the Raleigh Tanzania Society. I was one of the successful 11 participants selected to travel to Tanzania and work closely with RTS to upskill their knowledge of marketing and communications. As a result, RTS used and will continue to use, these skills to create awareness-raising campaigns to get their voices heard and support environmental policy in Tanzania. While this initiative will help mobilise young people to take action on national causes, it was also a unique opportunity to push myself to overcome new challenges and achieve new goals while immersing in the Tanzanian culture.ZURICH:▪ Working with Zurich to deliver brand campaigns across multiple business units. ▪ Day-to-day lead working with senior clients to deliver print campaigns. ▪ Worked with planning and creative to develop a creative message and idea. ▪ Proactively sought a creative solution to a small production budget. ▪ Worked closely with production and creative to write a PPM, deliver shoot and post-production. BMI:▪ Developed brand architecture and visual identity for a new brand to the roofing category. ▪ Worked closely with strategy, creative, design and the ECD to deliver a comprehensive set of brand guidelines including photography, ToV, print, digital and supply chain assets.

I managed the Audi Media Centre, a marketing portal for all Audi Centres across the UK. I was the interface between Audi UK, Audi Centres and BBH. I provided advice on brand guidelines, campaign suitability to ensure all marketing materials produced by Audi Centres align with the brand values and positioning of Audi. A key part of my role was to ensure there is brand consistency throughout the Audi commercial outlets. I will take input from any of the Audi network of showrooms and chase through their idea from production to placement making sure they are fit for purpose, approved for display and ready on time. To help achieve a smooth flow between the centre and the Agency I field queries, correct compositions and provide feedback on acceptability or otherwise.

Responsibilities in this role include, posting competitions on social media and online for Woman & Home readers, competitor analysis, awards/event logistics, and acting as admin for the Facebook book club group. The experience I have gained from this internship has provided a grounding in the marketing elements of office administration, events co-ordination and using the internet to deliver marketing messages. It is a fast-paced environment where I had to quickly adapt and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. I attended publicity events and sponsorship promotions on behalf of the company. My communication and computer skills have developed through the using the in-house data systems and in helping to coordinate events; enabling me to make an effective contribution during the internship.

I was employed by Movianto (through AllStaff recruitment) on what was originally a three day temporary placement, but was fortunate enough to continue for longer. My job was office administration, which included answering telephone calls, phoning clients, processing invoices, creating orders and depot searches. I also quickly learnt to use the in-house computer system for data inputting. I found this job especially beneficial because it allowed me to work in a real business environment in which I was given a variety of duties and training. I particularly appreciated the opportunity to work as part of a team and to interact with clients. I was pleased to quickly learn the in-house operating system as it developed my communication and computer skills and enabled me to contribute more effectively during the placement.
