MichaelsTheknackkids.com is a new interface developed for Michaels. It is the online repository of project sheets, Ideas and Printables. The event calendar post mark all the events for all the stores. Authenticated users can customize their views. They also can share and save the projects and events in pdf format. This legacy web application was originally developed in Flash and part of the project was involved in changing the user interface from Flash to ASP.NET application. This dashboard application was developed for General Mills providing ASP.NET web interface to query customer, product and sales information. The customized webpart framework retrieves customer, product and sales information from Oracle 10g database and the dashboard application displays the same in comparative bar / pie charts. The framework has the ability to generate reports for any available periods in multiple formats.Operational ReportsOperational reports were developed to enable executives of General Mills to view and generate every day product sales data viewable in table format using ASP.NET web interface. These reports are run every day and can be stored in excel and pdf formats. Reports are being displayed in Infragistics customized tables.Designed and developed operational reports web interface and written complex queries to retrieve user requested data from Oracle 10g database based on the selection made in the user interface depending on the need and to dynamically frame queries. Developed and integrated new web design utilizing ASP.NET, C# and Object Oriented Programming. Created custom web controls using the Model View Presenter (MVP) pattern/Model View Controller (MVC) and followed the business requirements that were required by business objects. Controls were localized based of the country selection. Control helpers were developed to help differentiate the many different roles or order types for the custom controls to behave properly. Used Photoshop to design and manipulate graphics. Designed and coded commercial marketing pieces using Flash. Also, a Virtual Tour (a Rich Internet Application/RIA) built in Flash CS3 with dynamically loading Images and Menus from an XML document and using with ActionScript 2.0 to parse data, capture user events and display animation according to those actions. Used Microsoft Team Foundation as our source control software system
