My responsibilities include creating content on Marketo; email campaigns & landing pages, creating reports to gather metrics. Getting input from product managers and making changes to the website; updating images, literature, adding/removing content. Recently, I've also been responsible for creating brochures for the various pressure products that we hold. Not only do I do content creation, I'm also responsible for marketing strategies. I have previously been devising a competitive benchmark and I am now creating a strategy for Google.

Customer Service Assistant

I worked for William Hill for just over a year and started as a Customer Service Assistant. This included familiarising myself with the betting system they use to take bets. Once a bet was processed, I would have to then have to 'translate' that into the system. This was very complicated when I first started working there as I was still getting to know all the different bet types and how much a bet would come to from the stake given by the customer. It was a very fast paced environment, especially when big sporting events were on. I would have to be quick at taking the bets, giving the change and translating the bets. I also had to make sure that the till didn't go over a certain amount. I was also responsible for the general cleanliness of the shop. After working there for 6 months, I progressed to being an 'Open/Closer'. This meant that I was able to work on my own, handle large amounts of cash, work in different stores if needed, take money to the bank and could supervise others who weren't able to work on their own yet. As it was a betting shop, I was also responsible for making sure under 18's were not allowed to enter the premises, being aware of my surroundings (especially when working by myself) and also being aware of fraudsters.
