A passionate sales leader that drives result! Looking at the years I had the pleasure to work with Pontus - with him as my manager, mentor and coach. I could see that his sales leadership and personality built a platform that made a huge difference for the success of Management Events Sweden - enabling both me and the rest of the organization to fulfill our potential. From the time I entered the company in 2007 until I left in 2011 there was a number of skills that I see as an important part of a modern and efficient sales leadership. Initially Pontus is truly passionate about the business he does and the value he provides to his clients. He genuinely loves to win, and love to sell. In Management Events he had a clear sales philosophy that I would say focus on three major pillars that he lived by with high integrity and leading by example every day: Firstly creating a great sales culture and team spirit, making everyone feel a part of and contributing to their best of ability, wanting to win and celebrating the outcome, and have a lot of fun doing what you do. Secondly, he ensured that his sales people spent their time where they should, out there with the clients. Creating and constantly fine tuning an efficient sales process, as well as synergizing and making all other related processes and support functions in the company contribute to the overall sales efficiency. Thirdly, he has excellent communications skills, both internally in his leadership and externally, creating clear expectations both with internal and external stakeholders which makes it easy to all involve to plan and prioritize. . Working with Pontus was always great fun and inspiring, and on reflection I see that his sales leadership would be a great asset to any organizations that need to improve their sales culture, processes as well as has a need of operationally driving sales.

Pontus and I worked closely on a everyday basis for 2 years. Pontus is a passionate and natural leader. I and many other colleagues are impressed by his journey at ME. Knowing that he has climbed the corporate ladder builds a certain type of trust. He has taught all of us that hard work pays off. Pontus always hires the best people and makes sure to keep them around. He is a relationship builder, both internally and externally, and definitely has the skill to handle all types of people. This, in combination with his sales mind-set makes it a true joy to see Pontus in action! He is very clear in what he expects from you. He is demanding and will challenge you. I appreciate that he trusts you to be independent and handle potential obstacles yourself. In the same time he lets you know that he is there for questions and guidance. What I appreciated the most with our collaboration is that he always set a good example. He is ALWAYS professional and lets his peers know that no questions are too difficult or unnecessary to be asked. He has the skill to turn tough questions into interesting discussion topics and that makes him a true leader and role model. We worked together on many various projects and I enjoyed every one of them. Not because all of them were super fun or easy to complete but I had the chance to learn from a real professional.
