I had the carriage of the political process to secure endorsement for the Strategic Business for Cruise Capacity in NSW. The preparation and engagement with stakeholders for the NSW Freight and Ports Strategy released by the Minister following Cabinet endorsement in 2018, Maritime Safety Plan 2018 and Maritime Infrastructure Plan. Designed and implemented significant structural and operational changes within the Authority, to deliver treasury savings targets, whilst building capacity and a culture within the Authority to deliver innovation, customer service and our strategic vision and objectives. Undertook Regulatory and Act review, and a stringent evaluation program of our programs and policies with industry input to assess effectiveness and make any necessary amendments to streamline and remove red tape. All financial and budget reporting requirements achieved and unqualified financial statements. Met regularly with Independent Audit and Risk Committee to monitor and evaluate Authorities financial management and performance and risk management strategies.
