Projects: Detection Lab (malware/ransomware): Built fully automated sandbox using cuckoo and all Windows VM from Windows 7 to Windows Server 2019 and Windows Domain Controllers Purpose - analyst team and developers team can deploy any kind of malware/ransomware in a closed environment and collect all information about the behaviour of the malware/ransomware Packet Capture - data throughput improvements: A common problem with large network traffic is too big packet loss when using default kernel tcpdump. Designed and updated existing setup using zbalance, bro and suricata solution to drop packet loss from ~60% with 1Gbps of constant traffic flow to ~5% with 10Gbps of constant traffic flow. Out-of-band co-processor: Design co-processor out-of-band solution based on RaspberryPI and designed 3D printed enclosure for PCI slot fitted inside of a server case. OOB connecting through ssh and creating a tunnel to the management interface on the server board.
