I was lucky to have Polina as my mentoring student for 3,5 months. Polina was working on the UX project aiming to incorporate recycling as a habit for the people living in places with existing recycling infrastructure. The project was challenging, but Polina was deeply involved in the research process and every week was performing exceptional progress. As a mentor, I was surprised by the level of depth and thoughtfulness she was performing. After spending circa 30h on the calls with her I can confidently say that Polina is a very smart-working, dedicated, persistent, and deep person who will do a great job as a product researcher and strategist. She’s also a very creative person who can easily grow to be a great product designer. Besides, communication and collaboration with her were seamless and very easy. I highly recommended her and believe that Polina would be a great asset to any design team.
