  Podesta's key responsibilities at the NCPC-SA are to facilitate and manage the roll out of RECP assessments to companies in the Agro-processing sector.Her relatively lengthy involvement in the sector allows for key stakeholder engagements. She is also involved in developing benchmarks against international trends in sustainable consumption and production (SCP) in the sector in collaboration with the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) and the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti).
