  I was part of R&D team to develop Volkswagen Caravelle interior for Thai market. My team was assigned to come up with a new version of existing interior by using plastic molding processes. The challenge of this project was that the existing interior had only 30% of digital data and the rest 70% was hand-built. My main responsibility was redesigning an inner construction with an engineer team in order to translate design intents, figure out how to properly install the construction onto a chassis and sourcing components. My team was able to deliver a full functional prototype in 6 months and was ready to move to production as well as presented the concept to marketing team. Show less

  I collaborated with Silpfa Plastic Industry to design a set of lighting fixtures by using scrap acrylic that was left over from manufacturing process. I started this project by collecting and sorting scrap material for one month. I came up with experiment process to reuse the material with machines and tools from Silpfa. My goal was to let the material and tools to lead forms and functionalities of the products. From the experiment, I discovered new techniques to fabricate and create 3D shapes from acrylic that could be developed further for real manufacturing processes. Show less

  I worked with a team to redesign Scuderia Bizzarrini P538, the first super car in Thailand. My main responsibility for the team was designing and making a 1:5 scale clay model for exterior and a full scale model for interior. The challenge was to make sure that the model must fit with existing chassis, engine and gear box. We made mock up of the chassis and built the clay model on top of it as the way to fit check. The project took us 8 months from concept to finished CNC model that is ready for make composite parts. Show less
