  have gathered experience in the Power Sector Project Management to ensure delivery of different type of Projects like - Up gradation & Revamping Distribution & Transmission Network which involved Feasibility Study, Cost Estimation, Engineering, Planning, Scheduling, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Grid & Distribution Sub-Station, 11kV ,33,66 KV Over Head & Under Ground Line, Implementation of Geographical Information system(GIS) Strengthening of Metering & LT System within scheduled Time Frame taking cost and quality in consideration.I have also Presently working with NDPL- a TATA & Delhi Govt. Joint Ventures as Project Manager. The key Techno-Commercial areas of my competency in Power Sector are briefed below:Project Management: Involved with Feasibility study, Cost Estimation & Engineering, Project Planning, Scheduling & Monitoring for Power System Distribution & Transmission Network Up gradation & Revamping Projects (commissioning of Grid & Distribution Substation, Transmission & Distribution Line, LT less System).and To ensure delivery of Project within Timeframe, Cost & Quality I am involved with Material Management, Drawing Approval, Liaisoning with statutory & Govt. Body and forecasting & flagging issues which may occur during execution of Project.GIS: Implementation of Geographical Information system(GIS) by drawing up Software specification in consultation with the important stakeholders of the project as well as the implementation partner.This includes defining scope particulars of customization of products such as PSS/Engines, Design Manager and Power On.

Involved with Upgradation & Revamping of Transmission & Distribution Network (Grid Commissioning, LT System, O/H & U/G Line),Providing new connection Industrial/Commercial/residential, Preparation of Technical specification & Procurement of Electrical equipments and strengthening metering & Loss Control mechanism which lead to Quality Power and reduction of Techno-commercial losses.Major work executed by me is summarized belowFeasibility Study, Cost Estimation, Project Scheduling & Monitoring, Material Management, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 33/11 kV Grid Sub-Stations, Under Ground and Over Head Line, LT-less System to revamp & Upgrade Distribution & Transmission network.Designing and executing Electrification for Housing society, Shopping Complex.Designing and execution of HVDS for Rural Electrification.Identification and isolation of Technical and Commercial Losses and developing remedial measure to reduce it to a reasonable limit.Installation, Testing and commissioning of SCADA through optical fibre cable.Energy accounting and reconciliation to ensure logical target fixing.Implementation of Geographical Information System (GIS)Preparation of Data Model for both land base and electrical objects, in consonance with the Software RequirementTraining Surveyors on identifying electrical objects and collecting data from site.Verification of Software Design Documents to ensure compliance with the agreed RequirementFormulating testing strategy for survey data, deciding samples for testing and managing verification of data authenticity through field checking.Carrying out final testing of data submitted in Smallworld format to ensure compliance with application software.Training end-users and instituting change management initiatives to ensure acceptance of new work practices.
