I have improved the quality of teaching, learning and achievement, by introducing course performance reviews, carrying out observations of teaching and learning and walkthroughs, managing peer to peer support for teachers, monitoring student profiles and reviewing SOW and LPs. I have been very effective in leading and managing change to improve outcomes, introduced appropriate interventions, based on the tracking of those learners at risk, created procedures to share attendance data quickly, tracked embedding of English and maths, introduced Masterly Maths, carried out regular progression reviews, tracked mock exams and predicted success. To improve outcomes in English and maths I have reviewed LPs to ensure they are embedded in all subjects, provided resources to support vocational teachers, providing one – to –one support from Maths specialists to non-maths teachers, reviewed access to online resources available to learners and supported departments to participate in competitions to motivate gifted learners. I have 10 years of experience of writing SARs and QIPS. I am very good at managing complex data. I have identified underperforming areas and created localised quality improvement plans and action plans for staff. I have experience of monitoring, evaluating and reviewing policy, practice and performance of staff and students, delivering whole school CPD to staff in British Values and Prevent. I have reviewed performance of staff by carrying out lesson observations, appraisals and interim appraisals, informal and formal action planning of staff. I have managed teaching teams to review the performance of learners, by updating progress trackers with information such as mock exam results, risks associated with each learner, comparison of success between teachers delivering same qualification to ensure consistency.
