In my time working alongside Pippa, I was inspired by her professionalism, her mentorship and her exceptional subject knowledge. As the Key Stage 5 Coordinator, her guidance and truly passionate approach to pedagogy, was beyond reproach. Pippa was approachable, diligent and enthusiastic about her subject, which was mirrored in not only the way students received her lessons, but also in how the department performed. The in-depth subject knowledge stretched not only the students, but certainly myself, being a new teacher to A'Level Language at the time. Her methodical, skilful and sensible approach to guiding the department, as well as her encouragement and understanding, was what led to outstanding results for the students. Her drive for excellence was always carefully balanced with a desire to support and mentor her team.

Her calming presence ensured students she taught were focused, dedicated and at ease to seek support. Pippa's creativity allowed for students to perform well both in and and out of the classroom, giving them platforms to excel and showcase their knowledge, skills and talents.
