Bio
Łukasz Dąbrowski
Leading PR and Communications for Cisco in Poland, I had countless opportunities to work with Piotr, who has been a great Cisco spokesperson and subject matter expert, spreading the word about Cisco’s amazing People and Culture in his many media appearances and publications. We also partnered on key employer branding initiatives, including the annual Great Place to Work survey and ranking, which named Cisco #1 Best Workplace in Poland for 3 consecutive years. During that period, our employee population in Poland doubled, reaching 2000+ highly skilled tech and business professionals who chose to work at Cisco, despite a very competitive employer market in Krakow where most of our business operations are located. Such dynamic growth often comes with inadvertent tradeoffs and erosion of certain positive aspects of a company's culture. But that was not the case with Cisco Poland. As we continued to expand and hire hundreds of new employees every year, we were still able to nurture our vibrant culture, maintain the #1 spot in the GPTW ranking and in turn attract even more young and talented people from literally all over the world (representing as many as 70 different nationalities!) to join Cisco Krakow, making it the largest Cisco site in all of EMEA. It obviously required a tremendous team effort for the Krakow site to succeed the way it did, but Piotr was instrumental in creating and nurturing the right environment for that to happen. His cross-disciplinary expertise, ranging from psychology to technology, combined with an innovative mindset, business acumen, critical thinking, and change management skills allow Piotr to go above and beyond the role of your typical „HR Partner/Manager and add outstanding value in many different parts of the organization. You will also appreciate having him on your team in a time of crisis, with his calm, composed demeanor and constructive attitude focused on fixing the issue and mitigating its impact. So if you are a mature organization that wants to shake up its stagnant corporate culture, inspire a company-wide mindset shift and change obsolete yet still prevalent perceptions - or in a completely different scenario - a young, dynamic, rapidly growing start-up reaching a critical point where it needs more structure and organizational strategy but without losing its cool „startuppy vibe - then Piotr is the right person to guide you through that process. And if you are lucky, like I was, you will become good colleagues and have fun along the way.

From the very first moment when I started working with Piotr, I was inspired by his brilliant and eager to learn mindset and creativity. He raises the right questions to be answered, builds inclusive communities, and is always courageous to walk on new paths. Teams he worked with benefitted from his master skill level in agile thinking and methodology. It enabled them to live true agile ways of working in different environments, as he created out of the box thinking. He combines global strategic vision with local needs and the ability to translate the strategy to simple concrete steps of action he delivered on. Based on my experience you don't find this combination easily.
