I worked with Piotr for almost 2 years in Showpad. He was a great manager and natural leader: always eager to help and solve problems. He's a trustworthy and reliable person. Besides that he's an advanced FIFA player :) Piotr is seriously motivated to have a positive impact on the team - everybody can see that through the day to day of his work. I highly recommend Piotr!

Piotr and I have been partners in crime for quite some time. He came to TomTom as a temporary intern. In the middle of the internship, I finally got an introduction. Soon after, I realized that I really want to work with this guy. Maybe it is because we have similar backgrounds in GIS, or that we shared similar interests of traveling and exploring, or that I saw the he has great potential to do great things in the company. Either way, the internship was coming to an end, and he was really looking forward to going home to see family and friends, when I recommended him for a few positions. As one would guess, he got an offer for both, and soon had to make a tough decision that would change his life forever. He accepted the challenge and made the longer term move to Ghent. Quickly, we started feeding off of each other on ways we can get better at work and at how, how we can make real change, how we can try to make work more fulfilling. We soon became a SM/PO duo with a mission, and that mission, we executed very well. Since these days, we moved on from this project and even moved teams, but remained together. We continue to challenge each other, even when it gets painful. From the duo, he is the more calm, clean, and professional which is much needed with my "out of the norm" style of working. Some words about his competences... his extraordinary writing skills have made me smile and even made me cry. Not only does he have them, he uses them to keep people up to date and informed of whats going on in and around the team, leaving little doubt to get into the imagination. He is calm, cool and professional not only in his writing, but also within meetings and office in general. This is key to getting people on board with new ideas and ways of working. Lastly, his understanding of the team and the people in it. He is one of the believers that management is every ones responsibility and that empowering teams and people is essential for the success of a team, organization, and even company. It certainly brings motivation to those around us. I will leave it at that for now ;)
