This involved exploring the use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to detect forms from a PDF or image and converting the raw data into a usable MoreApp form. I also built a proof of concept version using the MoreApp API that allowed for real-time use and deployment for possible internal use.Technologies I used included Java, MongoDB, Spring Boot, and TypeScript with React/Vite for the frontend. As I was working with a new stack, I collaborated closely with business and development colleagues to ensure a successful outcome.   During my time as a software development intern at Digimentr, I had the opportunity to work on an innovative project: the development of a software-as-a-service platform for the logistics sector. This was one of the first platforms of its kind, and I was excited to be part of the team that helped bring it to life.One of my primary responsibilities during the internship was adapting the code base so that multiple parties could use the platform simultaneously. This required me to have a strong understanding of software architecture and to work closely with other developers on the team to ensure that the code was properly integrated and tested.In addition to this work, I also spent a significant amount of time improving and setting up a new Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.
