  My research interests concern the analysis and development of communication systems and information analysis techniques, by applying learning techniques based on the theory of system control and of the optimization. Some of the application fields related to my research activities are flying ah-hoc networks, vehicular networks, maritime communications, and localization.   My research activity concerned the study of algorithms for optimizing the communication performances of an underwater acoustic network, by using acquired measurements about the state of the channel and the energy consumption of the transceivers. The effect of the developed algorithms, on the performances of the network, were measured using known metrics such as SNR, throughput, energy consumption and defining new ones. I also took care of the analysis and extraction of information from the acquired data, as well as the implementation and testing of the studied algorithms through the numerical simulation platform Matlab.
