Pieter van der Manden is a person with the right balance. Socially involved and at the same time professional; Easy going and at the same time responsible and hard working; With a sympathic character and at the same time not afraid to give constructive critics. Balances more professionals should have! It was a pleasure to coach him as my student. I'm sure it's a pleasure for those who work with him to be able to do so.

Pieter was our contact for the ARP at VU university Amsterdam. His work (and his team) helped us in creating independent knowledge about Expatriate behavior. The study they did was excellent, with constructive leads and useful data. But also on a personal level we can recommended him. He is easy to work with, with good constructive feedback. In our experience he can be both a team-player as a leader.

I was a team captain of small teams. The main task was to assist project managers with the several projects, both customer surveys and employee surveys. In the project organization we worked in several small teams responsible for tasks like client reporting & presentations.

Research trip organized for and by students. I worked independently during one year to deliver a high qualified report for a satisfied client. My personal additional value consisted of: - Acquisition: cold calling and acquisition meetings with potential clients from several industries. - International relocation research: I was the chairman of the research group who had to investigate the challenges and pitfalls from expatriates in Indonesia and Malaysia. Based on this we advised a portfolio of potential products for successful a entry of Solidbasics International (www.solidbasics.com) in Indonesia and/or Malaysia. Show less

Before the Amstel brand design change in 2006, I investigated what the total investment would be for a design change on a national scale. Furthermore I advised how this investment could be reduced by changing the design in different phases, considering the importance of some Amstel products.
