Sailing routing via Bering Strait or via the Suez Canal. Alternative loadport in Zeebrugge/Belgium to Sabetta. Northern Sea Route. Ice sailing, sometimes with assistance of Russian ice-breakers. Kloosterboer IJmuiden deals with handling, coldstorage, transit and forwarding transport of temperature controlles food products. It is focussing on landings of deep frozen fish products from fishing/reefer vessels/trawlers and reefer containers. The cargo flows not only consists of frozen fish into the European Community, but also for transport with final destination f.i Asia, Africa and the Amercicas. The company in IJmuiden offers a complete maritime logistical service package ranging from coldstorage, wharehousing, added values, veterinary inspections, customs, agencies, expedition, documentaion and reefer container on carriage/forwarding transport. The previously called Kloosterboer Shipping BV, with core business on carriage of transport of reefer containers with frozen fish, was renamed on 1 January 2007 into Samskip Reefer Logistics IJmuiden BV. Key responsibilities: Prepare and realising the yearly sales budget plan, sales & marketing, strategy, new business development, negotiating prices and conditions.
