Surfers Against Sewage is an environmental charity protecting the UK’s oceans, waves and beaches for all to enjoy safely and sustainably, via community action, campaigning, volunteering, conservation, education and scientific research. I personally believe that the environment is worth fighting for because it cannot always speak for itself. This combined with the great surfing atmosphere has made me a committed volunteer. I am responsible for the day to day tasks at the office involving creating educational props, packing and sending merchandise, and contacting new members.
