The #1 thing I love about Piet as a leader, marketer and person - his glass is always half full. In today's world, we need people who can dial down the intensity to make way for ideas and a path forward. This is something that Piet does everyday as an individual and with and for his team. He is a voice of reason, as well as the sometimes needed devil's advocate and someone who knows how to comfort hysteria. Since he came to our team, I have been able to rely on him to provide strategy, content and direction for our company and he has become a main source/face that I gladly parade out in public to speak our gospel. I appreciate all of these qualities in a leader and am so glad to be a part of his team.

I have known Piet for many years but only had the privilege of working with him in the last two years. Piet is a savvy marketer with tremendous industry knowledge of the Business Intelligence, Data Management, and Artificial Intelligence spaces. His specialty is product marketing, but he is equally adept at other areas of marketing, especially analyst relations, where Paxata became a leader in two different Forrester Waves under his leadership. He is a very easy person to work with collaboratively and was well liked by both his peers and team alike. He has especially strong management skills and did a great job earning the trust of the people who reported to him. I'd be happy to work with him again.
