I was an active link with ONS on both Census and Population methodology, presenting ideas and representing Local Government on ONS working groups as an expert user. I was part of the Beyond 2011 Independent Working Group that lobbied parliament for a continuation of the traditional decennial Census and gave evidence at the Public Accounts Select Committee in February 2014.
