In the last seven years I have matured a wide experience in luxury goods manufacturing and in particular deep competences in the specialist production of high-end shoe products. Reporting to the industrial controlling manager, I have undertaken increasingly important assignments within the Finance Department. In the shoe division of Louis Vuitton I initially monitored key performance indicators and executed the budget and revised budget for one of the internal plants. Year by year I extended my hard skills and scope of responsibility working in another two internal plants within the business unit and also with external partners. For a long period I focused also on the operational expenditures: direct fixed costs and indirect fixed costs interfacing periodically with the manager of the staff areas. Currently I prepare the budget of capital expenditures and I analyze and communicate monthly the progress of investments mainly to the general services department and IS&IT department. I work as an internal business partner closely with the head of casual and elegant mens shoe production. I analyze in depth raw material and labour cost variances with the objective of individualizing improvement areas and proposing the implementation of action plans. Once per month I personally present and discuss the KPI to the members of the board during the performance review meeting. Activities: - Responsible for the budget, budget revision and forecasting - Analyze monthly P&L - Focus on cost variances (actual vs standard) and margins - Update and monitor different kinds of KPI's - Manage monthly closing activities - Prepare operating expenses report - Prepare capital expenditures report - Define inventory obsolescence and depreciation - Organize the inventories - Support the accounting dept. in the right allocation of the costs - Ensure right actions to reach standard gross margin and gross margin goals - Present monthly performance review to top management
