My project is investigating the effect of background noise on the auditory and visual brain responses in children with auditory processing disorders (APD) compared an age-matched control group. The project is conducted through the use of standard clinical assessments combined with electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG).119 children participated in a behavioral part of the study in which we investigated the relationship between APD and attention difficulties.30 of these children participated in the electrophysiological part of the study conducted in the KIT-Macquarie MEG-lab, Sydney, Australia.
