Legal researcher working as part of a multidisciplinary team of investigators, including consumer and aged care representatives, clinicians and researchers with backgrounds in psychology, medicine, law and aged care. The Cognitive Decline Partnership Centre Activity 24 Project Team was funded to undertake a limited term multi-disciplinary research project investigating the human right to supported decision-making, the importance of supported decision-making in the context of people living with dementia, and the current scope within various Australian jurisdictions for people living with dementia to exercise supported decision-making. Outcomes of the project included the production of a policy guideline for aged care providers, a consumer guidebook, numerous law reform submissions and academic papers, among other resources.
