  September 2019 to date - I have been working as a part time children’s entertainer with DNA Kids. This involves doing structured parties for up to 40 children (pre pandemic). This involves being self sufficient, travelling to up to three separate venues a day and putting on a show as “Funky Phoebe”. It would range from organising team games, encouraging dancing, using a DJ disco deck, handling lights, microphones, snow, bubble, and fog machines. For magic themed parties I have learnt some basic magic tricks. Every party is scripted to a theme set down by DNA Kids to not only guarantee a happy customer but a birthday child feeling special for their big day. With this job I have to have good organisational skills to ensure I keep my stock up for party giveaways, such as certificates and prizes, which also means researching and locating the best deals for high quality good value prizes.
