Phoebe reported into me for two years, and was an integral part of our team's success. From the beginning of her time at Slingshot, she made an impact, both internally with our functional teams and with clients. She came into a tough situation, but she was ready for every challenge we threw at her. We asked a lot from her, and she consistently over-delivered on expectations, exhibiting strategic thinking and strong execution skills. She had a great combination of the basic day-to-day necessities and the nuanced soft skills that make for exceptional account managers. Over the course of our working relationship, Phoebe was eager to learn, coachable, and self-aware in areas that she wanted to grow. We had frequent conversations about how she wanted to push herself and her team to become even better, and this desire showed up in the results as she developed into a leader at the agency. She took on more responsibility internally, managing direct reports and quarterbacking the larger team on key initiatives. She also impressed clients with her confidence / poise, attention to detail, and anticipation of their needs before they were even voiced. Working with Phoebe was one of my favorite parts of my time at Slingshot. She was a great employee, but she also challenged me to be better as well. I was lucky to have her on my team.
