As outdoor restrictions are still in place, I currently take orders, prepare drinks, serve food and drink, take money, use the till and deliver excellent customer service. I love serving people, ensuring they receive their correct orders in a timely fashion and having a good time post-lockdown. I used to work all day every Saturday and Sunday however, moved to The Brave Nelson Pub as it was closer to home.   Brentwood Resident Action Group (BRAG), Brentwood, Essex This was a volunteering position where I helped to sort and dispatch food donations to the various team who then gave to elderly residents across Brentwood and the surrounding areas. Over the height of the pandemic donations covered nearly 500 residents. This included working with sheltered housing, residential and care homes. I learned the importance of data protection and adhering to strict privacy and confidentiality guidelines. I also helped others who were vulnerable and isolating by doing their shopping for them. One of the main things I loved was chatting to the elderly residents and knowing that I was helping them. Show less
