The Graduate Study Programme (GSP) at UN Geneva is the longest-running educational programme of the United Nations, now in its 61st year. Over the past six decades, the GSP has brought together and trained several thousand young people from over 100 countries on all continents. This two-week long summer seminar provides an opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of the United Nations and “International Geneva” through first-hand observations, lectures, research, and visits to Geneva-based institutions. Along with gaining invaluable insights, I forged friendships with colleagues worldwide. Our group's major milestone was drafting the "Code of Conduct on Information Integrity", a robust framework to promote truth in our digital age. Our work will be considered in the formal drafting process for the future UN Code of Conduct on Information Integrity at UNHQ New York, due for presentation at the Summit of the Future 2024.
