KWEC is a Friendly Society regulated by the FCA, managing a community interest in a commercial wind farm in Sutherland. SInce 2010 the Board has introduced formal risk assessment, and made sure it is comfortable with the performance of the wind farm operator, and with projected output, and that Members' money is safe. There was a successful second share issue to Members in 2011. KWEC is a Friendly Society regulated by the FCA, managing a community interest in a commercial wind farm in Sutherland.
