I first employed and worked with Phillip at Elster Group and was so impressed that when I moved to MINIT Group and learnt that he was looking to move I asked him to join me as the MINIT Group Financial Controller and more recently as Group Financial Director. Phillip has very strong technical financial knowledgable is hard working, loyal and dependable. He will always step up to the plate and consistently completes his tasks both on time and to a high level. With the recent introduction of IFRS 16 Phillip took on the group project across 12 countries covering around 900 shop leases and has introduced the systems, trained the international teams and liaised with external partners (audit and tax). Phillip is very strong on treasury management, group management accounts consolidation, overseeing production of multiple country statutory accounts as well as the group stats/tax and reporting. He is also excellent at maintaining accounting controls and ensuring statutory compliance. I would have no hesitation in employing Phillip again.
