General Description: IT Specialist I Under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the IT Specialists role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. The ideal candidate is a problem solver by nature, and someone who is highly motivated and able to work unsupervised. Good planning skills, flexibility, the ability to prioritize workloads, and work well under pressure are critical success factors. IT Specialist must be able to change priorities at a moment's notice. Along with those duties the IT Specialist must have a basic knowledge of HTML and be able to make updates to our content management system. Familiarity with Photoshop and related Adobe products is a plus. Additional requirements include team spirit, positive work ethic, superior customer service and the ability to develop relationships with individuals at all levels. Key attributes would include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as ability to travel to our offices in the upstate. Our home office is in Clemson, SC.
