Humanity. Impartiality. Neutrality. Independence. Voluntary Service. Unity. Universality. Always First. Always Ready. Always There. Currently the Lead Systems Engineer of the COVID-19 Platform and the Tech Response Arm of the Philippine Red Cross working directly in the Office of the Chairman. Remotely facilitated the deployment of the nationwide platform managing COVID-19 RT-PCR Tests for the Philippine Red Cross through building a Lab Information System in TypeScript, NextJS, GraphQL, Docker. Further automated and optimized the internal flow to improve and ensure fast delivery of COVID-19 results. Through this endeavor, we collaborated with government agencies to improve mass testing in the Philippines in Local Government Units and for incoming travelers at airports and seaports. We built a scalable platform through the use of Google Cloud Platform and DigitalOcean using Kubernetes to be used by 5,000+ individuals each day -- allowing for upwards of 2.5x testing capacity for COVID-19 in the Philippines.
