      BT job role was customer facing and involves talking the customer through everything involved with their BT Fusion package, this involved setup/installations, basic use and fault diagnostics. As with the role of Broadband Repair Advisor we covered any faults regarding the customer’s broadband connection, modem and computer setup. In both roles we resolved any issues with the broadband connection, we were trained to run diagnostics on the broadband link and copper telephone lines, we could test everything from customers equipment to internal wiring and from the telephone line to the exchange which then goes onto the BT network/internet. Faults were dealt with over the phone where possible or the information and test results are passed on to the engineers. In all we covered modem/router configuration along with Pc/Mac configuration via USB, LAN and WLAN along with Internet browser settings, Bluetooth connection issues, mobile network issues, handset configuration and broadband connection issues.
