An excellent opportunity to witness what management should never be like: arbitrary dumb orders, abusive language, humiliation etc. Also an excellent opportunity to discover Réunion, the breathtaking landscapes of Salazie and Mafate, the friendly Reunionese people, the local cuisine and the fun of learning another creole language. I certainly did not enjoy every minute of my military service but it was overall a positive experience. Compulsory military service in Réunion island.
