I am developing an innovative methodology to foresee the evolution of machines considering their past history and the set of constraints which is applied to them. The idea is to use the theory of evolution as a model to draw the different "species" of machines and then try to decrypt their DNA. By doing this, we can select the genes of the machines which are the most resilient to the various constraints and then to imagine by biological manipulation the machines of the future. This Biomimetic approach which is applicable to any kind of machine is developped in my research for "wheel machines" for people transportation.
