I had the opportunity to work with Philippa in her capacity of Buyer Analyst at Aveos for a period of approximately 5 months (October 2011-March 2012). Philippa was the sole buyer resposible for ensuring that all pre-req material was delivered in advance of the Aircraft Induction, across 3 different locations. Philippa's hard work, dediciation, passion for her job, and strive for perfection resulted in 100% parts availability for pre-req parts each month. Over and above her day to day job, Philippa was always willing to assist with RCCA (root cause corrective action) on any issues that were raised. With 25 + years of experience in aerospace, she has a very deep understanding of the role of the purchasing organization, as well as the requirement to work with other teams (Ex logistics, air worthiness, planning etc) to ensure that processes are working.
