  In the 'Good Old Days' we got involved in building the first home for Prince Andrew and Sarah Furgusson where upon a site visit one day Andrew turned up and was 'testing' the staircase..I remember one of the other girls in our team told him the curtains would be like my hair??? I think she was a bit flustered. I also met Richard Branson when he came to open Rope Walk navigation canal in Lincoln which Simons had a big hand in - but my boss introduced him as Mr 'Branston' he wasn't all that impressed! Simons is where I learnt my computer skills which up to then we had more or less avoided all through college as they had only just been invented (joke). Show less
