As Executive Officer I primarily provided secretariat support to a number of Board committees, including the Board, and the Audit & Risk Committee, which required an in depth knowledge of related terms of reference and policies along with overarching government regulation and legislation. This meant I liaised closely with NSW government, notably the Department of Premier & Cabinet, and the Arts Portfolio. I wrote many (many!) ministerial briefings and board papers, and had the hard task of pulling together and editing the Annual Report for 2009/10 and 2010/11. I liaised closely with the Director and the Executive Team to measure and report on the strategic goals of the organisation. *Sydney Living Museums (Historic Houses Trust) manages numerous buildings and sites including the world heritage listed Hyde Park Barracks, The Mint, Government House, Museum of Sydney, Vaucluse House, and Elizabeth Bay House.
