International assignment at the IBM Watson IoT Center, the IBM global headquarters for IoT based in Munich. As the lead technical architect for industrial products, I worked as part of the core Industry Lab team to develop and maintain cutting edge IoT showcases. My role involved working directly with clients and partners on technical proof of concepts, spending concentrated time with senior technical and executive client visitors to present and explain the concepts and solutions we had built. I also supported the wider IBM organisation through the design and delivery of bespoke showcases to bring together multiple new technologies for international events such as IBM THINK and the Hannover Messe.I was elected to a position in the Technical Expert Council (TEC) group within the DACH region as a recognition of my technical leadership and the work I did to further internal technical capabilities.
