Philip participated in some training courses that I also attended, so I was able to observe him in a learning environment. Based on this experience, I consider Philip to be a straight-forward, amiable and hard-working employee who likes to solve problems and establish clarity in the workplace. These are valuable traits for any employee to posses, but particularly important for an Engineer to display. Although Philip is in the early stages of his career, he is clearly on the right track to becoming a useful and resourceful Engineer with the right mix of energy, precision and motivation to look for answers and solutions in everything he does.

Philip is a hard working colleague whom I have had to privilege to work with on several group projects for the classes we have had together. I would value his input on any project or assignment I am given, because I know he will do his best to complete his part of the assignment in a timely manner.

Used LabView to design a mass-flow meter to measure amount of high pressure air being used for the Ares I-X Launch Abort System test model. Helped engineering technicians do tunnel checks (debris and pitot tube checks), model changes and remove/install models for new tests. Referenced "Low Speed Wind Tunnel Testing" by Jewel B. Barlow, William H. Rae and Alan Pope to learn about design and feasibility of open/closed return tunnels. Shadowed Test Engineers while they prepared for tests, ran tests and held conference calls after tests. Attended lectures ranging from global warming to colonies on Mars. Show less
