I have never met Philip. We are not chums. He has not asked me to write this. So what you will read below is something called genuine!!! (you know what I mean). A couple of hours ago I was an audience member in a 90 minute session Philip delivered to us for a networking group called BIP (Business Is Personal) on how to use LinkedIn effectively. There are 2 things I wish to draw to your attention: 1. Philip knows his stuff. To use the cliche - he is a subject matter expert 2. Philip can present. Very well. I make a living working with 'C'' Suite leaders and managers helping them to design and deliver exceptional in person and virtual presentations. The presentation I have just witnessed goes straight into the top 3 best presentations I have since the first lockdown. Why? It was: aimed at us (the audience), very funny, practical, full of stories, piqued my curiosity, inspirational, content rich, and all actionable. I now know what to do to improve my LI profile. Can you tell that I rather enjoyed it? If you are looking for an LI expert (and I mean real expert) who will engage your team, get your business to tap into the huge potential of LinkedIn and inspire you then book Philip now (if you can, he may be full!)

Philip delivered an excellent deep-dive workshop session at our online Global Stress & Wellbeing Summit 2020 and as always, he delivers tips and tools that are easy to implement once the session is over. This is the second time we have invited Philip to our platform and look forward to doing so again.

Was lucky to 'meet' Philip whilst he gave an insightful online presentation on how to to make the best of LinkedIn. Learnt so much and now feel under a little pressure to get my act together on this platform! If you like my profile it really has nothing to do with me, but EVERYTHING to do with Philip's advice and tutelage!

How well trained are you and your colleagues to deliver your company's key messages and presentations? Whether you're delivering your value proposition, speaking at networking events or building relationships with potential introducers, your business impact often depends on high-calibre presentations. So why do so many businesses fail at speaking with clarity, confidence and conviction?Presentation skills are often seen as ‘nice to have’ skills rather than critical workplace competences, so are often ignored – or even avoided.Your prospects, clients and professional introducers respond best to presenters who use all of their communication tools to gain influence. One of those tools, is the information you convey, but HOW you deliver that information is at least as important to gain the impact you're looking for. Here are five reasons to have professional presentation skills training:It builds morale. Often people go out of their way to avoid presentations, but with training people go out of their way to find opportunities to presentDevelops loyalty. Professional development is no longer merely necessary for employees to learn and grow; it is expected. High quality presentation training supports their desire to grow and can increase retentionShared skills set. Even in work environments where collaboration is strong, employees often must think and work on their own. Yet, there is simply no substitute for key employees being in the same room, learning the same skill set all at the same timeProfessionalism. When it comes to reaching a higher level of communication effectiveness, presentation skills training is essential and can really allow your impact and influence to soar.Client relationships. Presentations – online or in person are proven to rapidly enhance the trust building process and build confidence in your financial planning proposition.Learn more at https://www.adviserlifetalk.com/presentation-skills

LinkedIn Speaker for Schools, Universities, Students and Graduates

Today's tech-savvy students have grown up with internet enabled devices in their hands. That means that in addition to the support they'll get from teachers, parents and school careers leads - websites and apps are increasingly at the heart of how they choose the next steps in their education as they progress towards the exciting world of work. For many students, Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter and others, are at the heart of how they communicate - but the time comes when they need to gradually transition from 'fun social networking' to 'professional social networking'. It means building new online communication skills and learning how to project themselves to future employers in the best possible light.LinkedIn expert Philip Calvert is an experienced speaker in schools, and in this short guide shares valuable tips and strategies for students on how to get to grips with LinkedIn - including how to create a compelling profile, the right and wrong ways to engage with people, how to network with other users, where to find information on universities, companies and businesses - and much more.In many countries, you can now join LinkedIn at the age of sixteen, so this guide is designed to help today’s school and university students to see beyond the cat videos, beyond the selfies and the filtered stories, to discover powerful technology that will support their career choices, help them to find the job of their dreams and to learn the skills and best practice of Online Social Networking. For teachers and careers leaders, a knowledge of LinkedIn will give you the confidence to highlight to today’s tech-savvy students how it can support them in their university and career choices. You can also use LinkedIn in support of your implementation of the Gatsby Benchmarks or regional equivalent.Training available at your school or university.
